This workshop focuses on vocal skills. A student whose degree is conferred before they compete in their first competition heat, and who has therefore graduated, is not eligible to compete. Finalist feedback session 1 – March 25, 1: He is focused on enabling the University of Calgary to achieve its goals for indigenization, bringing together the University community with Indigenous communities in Alberta.

Our panel of four judges are leaders from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, as well as the University of Calgary. Research performed for employment should not be presented. MarchHeat 1 – Main campus: H ow to talk about your thesis in 3 minutes by Inger Mewburn. It will include consideration of the things that get in the way of delivering an effective, engaging and expressive vocal presentation and cover some of the strategies useful in overcoming these challenges. Hirsch is an accomplished economist, speaker and author with over twenty years of experience as an economist with the Canadian Pacific Railway, Canada West Foundation and Bank of Canada.
He earned his MA in economics from the University of Calgary, where he also taught economics for nearly a decade.
